How does one teach without punishment?
You already know.
Yes by example, but by what example?
By modelling good behaviour.
But how do you stop someone who ignores good behaviour?
You can’t stop them.
So I just let them continue to damage others?
You can stop someone from hurting others.
And then just let them wander off into the wilderness?
It isn’t easy.
Is any of this easy?
